Psychological harassment in the workplace
The article describes the protections provided by law for workers in Quebec.
Every employee has the right to a workplace free from psychological harassment. This refers to repeated words or actions that undermine an employee's dignity or integrity. Employers have a legal obligation to prevent and address all forms of harassment. If a problem arises, employees can file a complaint with the CNESST (French National Labour Code) within two years.
